Supraregional Services
The Göttingen State and University Library is a service provider for other libraries in various contexts. Here you will find information on the other supraregional services of the SUB Göttingen.
Lower Saxony Central Catalogue
The Lower Saxony State and University Library in Göttingen handles inter-regional interlibrary loan services as part of the Lower Saxony Central Catalogue (NZK). In particular, it maintains the official interlibrary loan list for the state of Lower Saxony. If you are interested in being authorised for inter-regional interlibrary loans, please refer to the information in the box.
The interlibrary loan list for the state of Lower Saxony is incorporated into the ISIL list of all libraries. Libraries authorised for ‘interregional interlibrary loans’ within the Federal Republic of Germany are marked with the notation ‘Interregional interlibrary loans’ under ‘Loan type’.
Once your library has been included in the Official Interlibrary Loan List, the NZK will inform the applicant library and the Network Centre of the Joint Library Network (VZG). The VZG will set up access to the online interlibrary loan system.
Please notify Berlin State Library's ISIL office directly about any changes affecting your library using the form provided there.
Please note:
According to the interlibrary loan regulations, online interlibrary loan is the primary ordering method for interlibrary loan requests. Participation in the loan slip procedure is no longer provided for.
