The Universitätsverlag Göttingen is the in-house publishing house of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and has been publishing scientific works by scientists belonging to the university since 2003.
About the University Press
The Göttingen University Press is managed by an editorial board consisting of representatives of the faculties and the University Medical Center Göttingen.
We support our authors in both electronic and print-based publishing, aiming to make scientific publications as openly accessible as possible. At the same time, we provide opportunities for high-quality, specialized works that are difficult to publish in the commercial market due to their niche focus.
The Open Access Policy of the University of Göttingen (including the University Medical Center Göttingen) state: ‘The University operates the Göttingen University Press, which publishes books in open access and supports the establishment of series and journals in open access.’
