Printing and Scanning
A multifunctional device for scanning, printing and copying is available at the BBF for students and private users, and we also offer a book scanner that can also be used by employees.
Our Collections
With holdings of around 145,000 volumes, we are the specialist library for forest sciences in Germany. Approximately 15,000 media are freely accessible in the reading room, the rest can be ordered from our stacks into the reading room on request.
Our collection covers the natural, economic and social sciences as well as the technical principles of forestry, forest ecology, hunting and wildlife management. This literature is stored at the BBF and is also available nationwide via the document delivery services.
Reserved titles or titles ordered by catalogue can be picked up at the information desk.
You can access our constantly growing range of e-books and e-journals via our catalogues and databases.
